South Carolina High School Softball - Crestwood holds off Lake City

Spectators at Friday's league match between the Crestwood Knights (Sumter, SC) and the visiting Lake City Panthers (Lake City, SC), witnessed Crestwood's softball squad tip Lake City by a count of 17-15.
The Knights now sport a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Richland Northeast for a non-league match on Monday, March 27. Crestwood will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 19-0 league loss to Irmo (Columbia, SC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-7.
With the loss, Lake City moves to 0-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Lakewood (Sumter, SC) to face the Gators in a AAA Region 6 match on Tuesday, March 28. The Gators go into the match with a record of 1-3.
