North Carolina High School Softball - West Lincoln bounces East Burke

March 24, 2023: Lincolnton, NC 28092

West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC), 12-7 in a league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincolnton for a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A challenge on Tuesday, March 28.

With the loss, East Burke falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC) to battle the Warriors in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 8-4. West Caldwell lost 4-0 in their recent league challenge against Bandys (Catawba, NC)
