The Greene County Wildcats softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Pass Christian Pirates to 6 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Greene County improves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Wildcats host Stone (Wiggins, MS) to clash with the Tomcats in a 4A Region 8 game on Tuesday, March 28. The Tomcats come into the game with a record of 5-7. Stone won 12-0 in their recent league game against Moss Point (Moss Point, MS)

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Harrison Central Red Rebels (Gulfport, MS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 28. Pass Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Red Rebels come into the game with a 6-2 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS).
