In Friday's league contest, the Greenwood Rangers (Midland, TX) softball team held off the visiting Seminole Indians (Seminole, TX), by a margin of 3-2.
With the triumph, Greenwood moves its record to 11-11 on the year. The Rangers travel to Pecos (Pecos, TX) to play the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 3 contest on Tuesday, March 28. The Loboes come into the contest with a 13-9 record after their 13-3 league win over Fort Stockton (Fort Stockton, TX).
