The Vance County Vipers softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host J.F. Webb Warriors to 0 in the Vipers league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Vance County improves its record to 4-4 on the year. The Vipers travel to South Granville (Creedmoor, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a Northern Lakes Athletic 2A/3A game on Tuesday, March 28. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 4-4. South Granville won 17-0 in their recent league game against Carrboro (Carrboro, NC)

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs (Durham, NC) in a Northern Lakes Athletic 2A/3A game, on Tuesday, April 4. J.F. Webb will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 0-8 record after their 30-14 non-league loss to Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC).
