The Bulldogs now own a 16-9 record. They take the field next when they host Brazosport for a 4A Region IV District 26 challenge on Tuesday, March 28. Sweeny will battle a Exporters squad coming off a 17-0 league win over Iowa Colony (Arcola, TX). The Exporters record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, La Marque falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Alief Hastings (Houston, TX) to battle the Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 25. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 0-8. Alief Hastings lost 36-33 in their recent league challenge against Alief Elsik (Houston, TX)
