The Livingston Lions softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Splendora Wildcats to 8 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Livingston moves its record to 4-13 on the year. The Lions host Magnolia West (Magnolia, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league game on Saturday, March 25. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 15-10. Magnolia West lost 14-4 in their recent league game against Brenham (Brenham, TX)

In their next game, the Wildcats play the Liberty Panthers (Liberty, TX) in a 4A Region III District 20 game, on Tuesday, March 28. Splendora will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 18-7 record after their 10-7 league win over Hargrave (Huffman, TX).
