Wasco Tigers (Wasco, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting McFarland Cougars (McFarland, CA), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Kennedy for a South Sequoia challenge on Wednesday, March 29. Wasco will battle a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 19-0 league loss to Taft (Taft, CA). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, McFarland falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Cougars host Shafter (Shafter, CA) to battle the Generals in a South Sequoia challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Generals enter the challenge with a record of 9-2. Shafter won 9-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Mt. Whitney (Visalia, CA)
