Milledgeville Missiles (Milledgeville, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting West Carroll Thunder (Savanna, IL), 16-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Missiles now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Warren/Stockton for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 28.
With the loss, West Carroll falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Thunder host Freeport (Freeport, IL) to face the Pretzels in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 31. The Pretzels enter the challenge with a record of 1-0.
