In Friday's league outing, the host Mira Costa Mustangs softball team scored a close 5-1 win over the Santa Monica Vikings.

Coming up next, the Mustangs battle the Capistrano Valley Cougars (Mission Viejo, CA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, March 25. Mira Costa will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
