The North Stokes Vikings softball team (Danbury, NC), was routed 6-3 in Friday's league test with the visiting Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC)

Coming up next, the Granite Bears encounter the East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 27. Mount Airy will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 3-5 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC).

The Vikings (2-8) will now prepare for their test against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Cardinals come into the Northwest 1A test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, East Wilkes edged Alleghany (Sparta, NC), 16-0, in a league test.
