The Mountain Heritage Cougars softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Rosman Tigers to 0 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Mountain Heritage improves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Cougars host Owen (Black Mountain, NC) to clash with the Warhorses in a Western Highlands 1A/2A game on Tuesday, March 28. The Warhorses come into the game with a record of 4-3. Owen won 11-0 in their recent league game against Mitchell (Bakersville, NC)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Madison Patriots (Marshall, NC) in a Western Highlands 1A/2A game, on Tuesday, March 28. Rosman will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 6-4 record after their 6-4 league loss to Draughn (Valdese, NC).
