Texas High School Softball - Queen City bounces New Boston

The Queen City Bulldogs routed the host New Boston Lions softball squad by a final score of 17-2 in Friday's league battle.
The Bulldogs (17-5) will now prepare for their battle against Pewitt (Omaha, TX). The Brahmas go into the 3A Region II District 14 outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Pewitt was routed by Atlanta (Atlanta, TX), 14-2, in a league outing.
The Lions (2-8) will now prepare for their outing against Hooks (Hooks, TX). The Hornets enter the 3A Region II District 14 outing with a 14-5 record. In their last outing, Hooks ran past De Kalb (De Kalb, TX), 16-0, in a league outing.
