The Williams Vikings softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Red Mesa Redskins to 0 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Williams moves its record to 14-6 on the year. The Vikings travel to St. Michael (St. Michaels, AZ) to clash with the Cardinals in a 1A North game on Saturday, April 1. The Cardinals come into the game with a record of 0-7.
In their next game, the Redskins clash with the Many Farms Lobos (Many Farms, AZ) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 28. Red Mesa will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Lobos come into the game with a 1-2 record after their 28-1 league win over Greyhills Academy (Tuba City, AZ).
