South San Antonio Bobcats (San Antonio, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Southside Cardinals (San Antonio, TX), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 17-8 record. They take the field next when they host Medina Valley for a 5A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, March 28. South San Antonio will face a Panthers squad coming off a 21-5 league win over Winn (Eagle Pass, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 11-10.

With the loss, Southside falls to 8-13 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Harlandale (San Antonio, TX) to face the Indians in a 5A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 3-13. Harlandale lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against McCollum (San Antonio, TX)
