The Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA) baseball trounced the host Cedar Grove Saints (Ellenwood, GA), 13-3 in Monday's league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Stone Mountain for a AAA Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Mt. Zion will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 20-6 league loss to Riverdale (Riverdale, GA). The Pirates record now stands at 0-5.

With the defeat, Cedar Grove drops to 1-8 on the year. The Saints host Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA) to clash with the Jaguars in a AAA Region 5 challenge on Friday, March 28. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Stephenson won 9-4 in their recent league challenge against Douglass (Atlanta, GA)
