The Wheeling Wildcats baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Grayslake North Knights to 1 in the Wildcats non-league win on Monday.

The Wildcats now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Faith Christian Academy for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 26. Wheeling will play a Lions team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Greenland (Greenland, AR). The Lions record now stands at 3-0.

With the defeat, Grayslake North drops to 1-3 on the year. The Knights host Warren Township (Gurnee, IL) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Monday, March 31. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 5-2. Warren Township won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL)
