Spectators at Monday's league challenge between the Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) and the host Twin Valley Panthers (Pilgrims Knob, VA), witnessed Grundy's baseball team knock off Twin Valley by a count of 10-7.

The Golden Wave now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host River View for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 31.

With the defeat, Twin Valley drops to 0-3 on the year. The Panthers host River View (Bradshaw, WV) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 27. The Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
