The Washington Generals baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Humphreys Academy Rebels to 4 in the Generals non-league win on Monday.
The Generals now hold a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they host St. Joseph for a MAIS 4A District 2 test on Tuesday, March 25. Washington will play a Fighting Irish team coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Riverside (Avon, MS). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Humphreys Academy drops to 0-6 on the year. The Rebels travel to Central Holmes Christian (Lexington, MS) to play the Trojans in a test on Tuesday, April 8. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 4-7.
