The North Springs Spartans baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Lithonia Bulldogs to 2 in the Spartans league win on Monday.

The Spartans now hold a 5-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pace Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 25. North Springs will play a Knights team coming off a 18-2 league win over Forest Park (Forest Park, GA). The Knights record now stands at 9-6.

With the defeat, Lithonia drops to 1-10 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Northview (Johns Creek, GA) to play the Titans in a AAAA Region 5 test on Friday, March 28. The Titans go into the test with a record of 6-12. Northview won 13-3 in their recent league test against Tucker (Tucker, GA)
