The Parkersburg South Patriots baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting The Linsly School Cadets to 1 in the Patriots non-league win on Monday.

The Patriots now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Parkersburg for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 26. Parkersburg South will play a Big Reds team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Big Reds record now stands at 0-4.

With the defeat, The Linsly School drops to 0-2 on the year. The Cadets host University (Morgantown, WV) to play the Hawks in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 25. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 1-3. University lost 8-4 in their recent non-league test against Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV)
