In Monday's league challenge, the host Bear River Bruins volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Wheatland Pirates.

The Bruins (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning (Nevada City, CA). The Fire Wolves come into the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning was nudged by Ben Holt College Prep Academy (Stockton, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates meet the Westlake Charter Explorers (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 25. Wheatland will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Explorers come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Lindhurst (Olivehurst, CA).
