The Dixie Hornets soccer team (Due West, SC), was tipped 2-1 in Monday's non-league match with the visiting Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC)
With the triumph, Mid-Carolina moves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Rebels host Newberry (Newberry, SC) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Thursday, March 27. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 0-3.
The Hornets now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Belton-Honea Path for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 26. Dixie will meet a Bears team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Crescent (Iva, SC). The Bears record now stands at 4-1.
