First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC), 9-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, First Flight moves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Nighthawks travel to Holmes (Edenton, NC) to clash with the Aces in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A test on Wednesday, March 26. The Aces come into the test with a record of 7-3. Holmes lost 10-1 in their recent league test against Currituck County (Barco, NC)

The Bears now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Camden County for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A test on Wednesday, March 26. Hertford County will clash with a Bruins team coming off a 5-1 league win over Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC). The Bruins record now stands at 6-2.
