The Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) softball routed the host North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC), 11-2 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Falcons now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Watauga for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 26. Forbush will encounter a Pioneers team coming off a 12-9 non-league loss to Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, North Surry moves to 1-2 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC) to encounter the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 25. The Cardinals come into the outing with a record of 1-1. East Surry won 20-1 in their recent non-league outing against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC)
