Poquoson Islanders (Poquoson, VA) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA), 12-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Poquoson improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Islanders host Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 26. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 0-0.
