The Delmar Wildcats (Delmar, DE) lacrosse nudged the visiting Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE), 7-6 in Monday's league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Sussex Academy for a Henlopen South outing on Thursday, March 27.
With the loss, Indian River falls to 0-1 on the year. The Indians travel to Worcester Prep (Berlin, MD) to face the Mallards in a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 25. The Mallards go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
