Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Newberry Bulldogs (Newberry, SC) and the host Saluda Tigers (Saluda, SC), saw Newberry's soccer squad knock off Saluda by a count of 3-1.

The Bulldogs (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Fox Creek (North Augusta, SC). The Predators enter the AAA Region 4 battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Fox Creek tipped Augusta Eagles (Martinez, GA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Strom Thurmond Rebels (Johnston, SC) in a AA Region 2 battle, on Friday, March 28. Saluda will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Rebels enter the battle with a 6-1 record after their 3-2 league loss to Pelion (Pelion, SC).
