Florida High School Softball - Anclote bounces Gibbs

The Anclote Sharks softball team scored 23 runs and held the host Gibbs Gladiators to 2 in the Sharks non-league win on Monday.

The Sharks now possess a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fivay for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 25. Anclote will confront a Falcons team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Nature Coast Tech (Brooksville, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Gibbs moves to 0-5 on the season. The Gladiators host Boca Ciega (Gulfport, FL) to confront the Pirates in a 3A District 11 battle on Wednesday, March 26. The Pirates come into the battle with a record of 8-3. Boca Ciega won 17-1 in their recent non-league battle against Admiral Farragut (St. Petersburg, FL)
