The Potosi Trojans softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Arcadia Valley Tigers to 0 in the Trojans non-league win on Monday.

The Trojans now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kingston for a Class 2 District 3 battle on Wednesday, March 26. Potosi will confront a Cougars team coming off a 25-0 non-league loss to Ste. Genevieve (Ste. Genevieve, MO). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Arcadia Valley moves to 0-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to West County (Leadwood, MO) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 26. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 2-0. West County won 8-0 in their recent league battle against Bourbon (Bourbon, MO)
