Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Middletown Knights (Middletown, MD), 4-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, Catoctin improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Walkersville (Walkersville, MD) to play the Lions in a CMC game on Wednesday, March 26. The Lions enter the game with a record of 2-0.

The Knights now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Governor Thomas Johnson for a CMC game on Thursday, March 27.
