In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Marshall County Marshals softball team scored a tight 9-4 win over the Christian County Colonels.

The Marshals (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Hickman County (Clinton, KY). The Falcons come into the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Hickman County nipped South Fulton (South Fulton, TN), 14-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Colonels confront the Calloway County Lakers (Murray, KY) in a non-league match, on Thursday, March 27. Christian County will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Lakers come into the match with a 0-9 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Lyon County (Eddyville, KY).
