The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the East Ridge Warriors (Lick Creek, KY) and the visiting Hurley Rebels (Hurley, VA), observed East Ridge's softball team prevail over Hurley by a tally of 17-5.

The Warriors (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Martin County (Inez, KY). The Cardinals go into the non-league bout with a 2-2 record.

In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Mount View Golden Knights (Welch, WV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Hurley will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Golden Knights go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 16-2 league win over Montcalm (Montcalm, WV).
