Texas High School Baseball - Levelland wallops Big Spring

The Levelland Lobos baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Big Spring Steers to 3 in the Lobos league win on Tuesday.

The Lobos now hold a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frenship Memorial for a 4A Region I District 5 outing on Friday, March 27. Levelland will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 8-3 league loss to Lake View (San Angelo, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 6-9.

The Steers (5-17) will now prepare for their outing against Estacado (Lubbock, TX). The Matadors come into the 4A Region I District 5 outing with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Estacado was overwhelmed by Snyder (Snyder, TX), 4-3, in a league test.
