Texas High School Baseball - Harlingen nudges Veterans Memorial

The Harlingen Cardinals nipped the visiting Veterans Memorial Chargers baseball squad by a score of 5-4 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next up, the Cardinals battle the Harlingen South Hawks (Harlingen, TX) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, March 28. Harlingen will attempt to advance on its 8-13 season record. The Hawks come into the outing with a 10-6 record after their 11-1 league win over Edcouch-Elsa (Edcouch, TX).

The Chargers (12-8) will now prepare for their outing against Hanna (Brownsville, TX). The Golden Eagles come into the 6A Region IV District 32 test with a 6-14 record. In their last test, Hanna was nipped by San Benito (San Benito, TX), 6-0, in a league test.
