Texas High School Softball - Milby bounces Sharpstown

The Milby Buffaloes softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Sharpstown Apollos to 0 in the Buffaloes league win on Tuesday.

The Buffaloes now possess a 13-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Galena Park for a 5A Region III District 21 battle on Friday, March 27. Milby will confront a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 17-0 league win over Sterling (Houston, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 15-3.

The Apollos (1-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Spring Woods (Houston, TX). The Tigers enter the 5A Region III District 21 challenge with a 4-16 record. In their last challenge, Spring Woods was routed by Waltrip (Houston, TX), 19-4, in a league challenge.
