California High School Softball - Pioneer bounces Prospect

March 24, 2026: Saratoga, CA 95070

In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Pioneer Mustangs softball team scored a tight 12-6 victory over the Prospect Panthers.

The Mustangs (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Silver Creek (San Jose, CA). The Raiders enter the Santa Teresa game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Silver Creek was routed by Leland (San Jose, CA), 16-3, in a league game.

The Panthers now hold a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Lincoln for a Santa Teresa game on Thursday, March 26. Prospect will battle a Lions team coming off a 5-4 league loss to Independence (San Jose, CA). The Lions record now stands at 4-8.
