South Lake Eagles (Groveland, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Leesburg Yellow Jackets (Leesburg, FL), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Dora Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 26. South Lake will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Ocoee (Ocoee, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Leesburg falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets host Dunnellon (Dunnellon, FL) to face the Tigers in a 4A District 6 challenge on Monday, March 29. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 6-8. Dunnellon won 10-7 in their recent non-league challenge against South Sumter (Bushnell, FL)
