North Carolina High School Baseball - Anson wallops Monroe

Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) and the visiting Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC), saw Anson's baseball squad knock off Monroe by a count of 14-0.

Coming up next, the Bearcats play the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A battle, on Tuesday, March 29. Anson will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Colts go into the match with a 7-1 record after their 10-0 league win over Central Academy (Monroe, NC).

The Redhawks (0-6) will now prepare for their match against Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Yellow Jackets go into the Rocky River 2A/3A match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Forest Hills was overwhelmed by Parkwood (Monroe, NC), 2-0, in a league match.
