The Chapin Huskies baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Austin Panthers to 3 in the Huskies league victory on Friday.
The Huskies (6-8) will now prepare for their match against Bowie (El Paso, TX). The Bears go into the 5A Region I District 1 match with a 5-4 record.
The Panthers (1-13) will now prepare for their match against Burges (El Paso, TX). The Mustangs go into the 5A Region I District 1 match with a 5-8 record. In their last match, Burges ran past Jefferson (El Paso, TX), 10-0, in a league match.
