The Brevard Blue Devils baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting R-S Central Hilltoppers to 12 in the Blue Devils league victory on Friday.
The Blue Devils (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Patton (Morganton, NC). The Panthers go into the Mountain Foothills Seven 2A match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Patton was edged by McDowell (Marion, NC), 5-4, in a non-league match.
The Hilltoppers (6-1) will now prepare for their match against East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Cavaliers go into the Mountain Foothills Seven 2A match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, East Rutherford was edged by Chase (Forest City, NC), 10-4, in a league match.
