Eastern Alamance Eagles (Mebane, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Eastern Alamance upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Williams (Burlington, NC) to battle the Bulldogs in a Central 3A test on Tuesday, March 29. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 3-6. Williams lost 7-5 in their recent league test against Orange (Hillsborough, NC)

With the defeat, Western Alamance falls to 4-5 on the season. The Warriors travel to Glenn (Kernersville, NC) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 30. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 3-7.
