California High School Baseball - Malibu holds off Fillmore

Malibu Sharks (Malibu, CA) backers went home happy Friday as they saw their baseball squad knock off the visiting Fillmore Flashes (Fillmore, CA), 11-7 in a league battle.

Coming up next, the Sharks play the Santa Paula Cardinals (Santa Paula, CA) in a Citrus Coast battle, on Wednesday, March 30. Malibu will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Cardinals enter the battle with a 8-7 record after their 1-0 league loss to Nordhoff (Ojai, CA).

The Flashes now possess a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Carpinteria for a Citrus Coast battle on Wednesday, March 30. Fillmore will play a Warriors squad coming off a 13-5 non-league loss to Cabrillo (Lompoc, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-6.
