Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA) and the host Monroe Area Hurricanes (Monroe, GA), saw Franklin County's baseball squad knock off Monroe Area by a count of 12-0.
Coming up next, the Lions play the Hart County Bulldogs (Hartwell, GA) in a AAA Region 8 battle, on Monday, March 28. Franklin County will attempt to move on its 11-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 7-8 record after their 1-0 league win over East Jackson (Commerce, GA).
