California High School Baseball - McLane loses to Hoover

The Hoover Patriots crushed the host McLane Highlanders baseball team by a tally of 7-1 in Friday's league bout.

The Patriots now hold a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sunnyside for a North Yosemite bout on Tuesday, March 29. Hoover will face a Wildcats team coming off a 7-1 league loss to Fresno (Fresno, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-9.

Next, the Highlanders face the Reedley Pirates (Reedley, CA) in a North Yosemite bout, on Tuesday, March 29. McLane will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 10-2 record after their 14-0 league win over Roosevelt (Fresno, CA).
