The Huss Huskies baseball team (Gastonia, NC), was overwhelmed 8-0 in Friday's league outing with the host South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC)
The Red Raiders now hold a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crest for a Big South 3A outing on Tuesday, March 29. South Point will confront a Chargers team coming off a 17-1 league win over Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 7-3.
Next, the Huskies confront the Berry Cardinal (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, March 28. Huss will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Cardinal go into the outing with a 4-6 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC).
