West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC), 11-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, West Stokes upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Wildcats host Reidsville (Reidsville, NC) to battle the Rams in a Mid-State 2A test on Tuesday, March 29. The Rams come into the test with a record of 1-8. Reidsville lost 17-1 in their recent league test against McMichael (Mayodan, NC)
With the defeat, Jordan-Matthews falls to 3-6 on the season. The Jets travel to Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC) to battle the Hawks in a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A test on Tuesday, March 29. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 3-6. Seaforth lost 5-2 in their recent league test against Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC)
