The Riverside Academy Rebels the visiting Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls baseball team by a tally of 8-4 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Rebels now hold a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Metairie Park Country Day for a 1A District 9 battle on Tuesday, March 29. Riverside Academy will play a Cajuns squad coming off a 15-4 non-league win over South Plaquemines (Buras, LA). The Cajuns record now stands at 12-0.
The Swamp Owls now possess a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Haynes Academy for a 3A District 11 battle on Tuesday, March 29.
