Texas High School Baseball - Luling loses to Nixon-Smiley

The Nixon-Smiley Mustangs crushed the visiting Luling Eagles baseball team by a count of 10-0 in Friday's league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Great Hearts Northern Oaks for a 3A Region IV District 26 bout on Tuesday, March 29. Nixon-Smiley will face a Griffins team coming off a 18-0 league loss to Randolph (Universal City, TX). The Griffins record now stands at 2-4.

Next, the Eagles face the Cole Cougars (San Antonio, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 26 bout, on Wednesday, March 30. Luling will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 3-11 record after their 15-7 league loss to Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX).
