The Mason County Royals baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Montgomery County Indians to 2 in the Royals non-league victory on Friday.
The Royals (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Bourbon County (Paris, KY). The Colonels go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Bourbon County edged Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY), 10-0, in a non-league match.
The Indians (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Perry County Central (Hazard, KY). The Commodores go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record.
